    You can create custom definitions for new, dormant, etc. Users using cohorts and then build them out in Mixpanel Dennis G.

    would you be open to share how you designed the “resurrected user” cohorts. the rest are a bit easier.

    So that really depends on how the product is built. But, to encompass all users I'd usually define resurrected users on a weekly basis as users that did not sign up in the last 7 days, used the product in the last 7 days, but did not use the product in the last 7 days ending 7 days ago. Now this could obviously change based on your usage cycle for customers.

    curious Ansh A. how do you create that stacked bar charusing cohorts and some of them showing negative as for the dormants for instance?

    Juan I. just create cohorts for each user state. And then use the stacked column chart in insights report plotting all of them. To create a negative chart for dormant users you can try using a formula on the dormant cohort to turn the number negative. Not sure if it'll work, but I guess it should.
