Addressing User Duplication: Seeking Advice on Mixpanel Merge API Implementation

Hi all! a new client of mine has a user duplication, it seems that the implementation of the identify as it was not done correctly and this was done very long time ago as a result, he has more then 80K duplicated accounts with some accounts having more than 14 users for the same email. In order to solve this issue, I wanted to use the Mixpanle Merge API, I have some questions I want to ask before trying to use it if anyone has experience with it I’ll be happy to have a short call to discuss risk and implementation recommendations
