Integrating Mixpanel with Appsflyer for Attribution Tracking

Has anyone here integrated Mixpanel with Appsflyer for attribution by channel/campaign etc.? Do you know if you need the `[mixpanel identify:@" "]` code in the app for this attribution to work? Any ideas how I can check if it's connected properly?

Hello, I did. You can see the install event in Mixpanel even if you don't add the [mixpanel identify:@"user@example.com"]section. However, without adding this, you won't be able to see specific users. After completing the integration of Mixpanel with Appsflyer, you can easily check installs by using OneLink. I hope it helps

It’s a bit complicated. I can view the data in this format but retrieve data from Appsflyer and import it into Mixpanel as needed. For instance, Appsflyer cannot send install data from Meta Ads due to limitations. When integrating Mixpanel, you will notice a note mentioning this. Note: Meta ads doesn’t share any user-level data with third-party platforms, according to their T&C. Therefore, no data is shared with Mixpanel.

You can use it with other networks, I think.

I don't have experience with other networks, but you can track real-time install data if you integrate it. However, the main purpose here is to track install data from Meta ads campaigns, so it may not help as much as you want.

If I remember correctly, yes. However, I don't use a lot with other networks

However, you can see the Snapchat data, as well as which OneLink brought the install.
