Troubleshooting Media Source Value Issues in Mixpanel User Properties

It seems that the media source value is set as a user property in the installation data in the mix panel, but it seems that it doesn’t work in some cases. When does this happen?

Assuming the install event is coming from an attribution partner (Appsflyer, Braze, etc) there are some privacy limitations established by media sources that do not allow partners to share some info with third parties (mixpanel in this case) For example, Appsflyer is limiting attribution data from Meta, you can see the details in this article: https://support.appsflyer.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006868017-Raw-data-content-restriction-media-source-or-user-identifiers#media-source-restrictions
