Filtering JSON Properties in Mixpanel Reports: Is it Possible?

·
·

Hi all, When I try to filter a "JSON" event property in a report, Mixpanel forces me to drill down into the JSON until I reach a text key that Mixpanel allows to filter. My question is - can I create a filter on the entire JSON property? For example, select all the event that contains the value "X" in the JSON property

How is the property cast? What icon shows next to it in a list when selecting it

This is the icon - looks like Mixpanel identifies this as an object

I can't select the property, when I try to click on it I drill down into the additional keys inside the object

Can you make a custom property equal to the json object property and set the custom property to be a String?

Cool. I don't have any json objects on my end to test with so glad it worked.
