Using Google Sheets to Import Events with User Emails

Hi team! I just found out about the Google sheets integration and it seems like it will help me a lot. Unfortunately it seems as though the import of events requires the associated user's distinct ID to be provided. I don't know the distinct ID's off hand, but I do know the associated user's email address. Is there a way for me to upload the events and have them be automatically associated with the appropriate users (profiles) based on just the email?
