Calculating Email Funnel Conversion: Need Help with Delivery Counts

hi all! I am trying to calculate our email funnel conversion can someone let me know if I am doing this correctly? If I look at the total count of delivery in the events from aug 28th I see 1,454 results, but if I do that in funnels I see 81 results for delivery. Anyone have any advice or insight?

so first. Funnels are counting users, not events. and then in the event list the event is different than from the first event in the funnel, if you have drops in between the funnel will reflect that. So these are two different reports, with different information.

What is usually the best practice from a report perepctive to track email conversions?

how you define email conversion?

so what you are doing in that funnel reports looks good to me.. you are considering the send and the delivery.

your initial question was different you were referring to the number of events "deliver"

its not the same as a funnel

We are a ticketing platform so we send a daily summary email and we want to track if users are opening then clicking the link in the email.
