Confusion Over Mixpanel Event Limits: Free vs Growth Plans Explained

The Mixpanel site says that the free plan event limit is 1m, but I’m using it without any problems even though the number of events in my current project is over 2m. When I search, the limit is 20m. Which is correct? I want to change to the growth plan this time because the number of events is the same as the free plan, but I’m confused.

    hey radi -- Abby here from the Mixpanel team! If you're seeing 20M, that means you're on an older version of our free plan that we deprecated in 2024. It does not include features like Session Replay, etc. You can switch to the latest plans (free or growth, whichever you choose) directly from the pricing page by selecting "Make the Switch"
