Inquiry About Mixpanel Session Replays for Expo or React Native

Hello everyone, I have a quick question. Is there expo or react native support for mixpanel session replays at the moment?

Hi Tanya! Eric here from the Mixpanel Support team. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but React Native support is not currently available. However, Mixpanel is working on expanding this feature and it’s possible that React Native support for Session Replay could be added in the future after iOS and Android native are released. (React Native SDK currently is a wrapper of the iOS and Android native SDKs) For your app built with React Native, the web SDK implementation will not work as it’s designed for web-based applications and React Native translates code into native elements. Sorry about that 🙏 Hopefully, we can support that in the future.
