Tracking Historical Data Before Mixpanel Implementation

Hi, is there a way to track previous data? from the time before mixpanel added to the project

you can send events through the import API endpoint, it's fairly easy to use and blazingly fast

I'm not sure I understand the question... the import API accept events up to 5 years old or something along those lines
