is it possible to invite a user to the org / project and to only give them permissions to a specific report, with no way of reaching other data / events / reports?
As far as I know, even the lowest level permission has "create" rights on insights. What I do when I have someone in this type of situation, I create a board, make it "public", assign a password to it, and then give them that public board link with the pw (so that it's not really "public"). They can view the board with the included insights. They can't change them in any way, but can interact like scrolling if there are more elements than displaying in the view.
oooh nice idea. so public with a PW is basically the lowest level permission. i imagine that they arenât able to click on the graph and access stuff like âview usersâ, âview eventsâ, or reach event streams and such?
correct. they can click on the chart to see things like "values" but not drill in to view users or events.
and for things that are longer than the view they can scroll.
Actually, I have found that if the lowest role "consumer" clicks on "the user" of the chart, it would show the user's info, and can export the csvđ .. I have reported this issue to the support team, but it will take time to fix this bugđ.
