Improving Funnel Interpretability with Clear Explanations
Hi guys, I have a suggestion regarding funnel interpretability. Many people I work with can't fully understand the concepts of Unique, Totals, Sessions and how this interacts with the Conversion Window. I know there are tooltips over them and there's an explanation in the Funnel docs. But it would be a great idea to provide a textual explanation alongside the funnel report itself, something such as:
This funnel counts unique users that performed step 1 event within the selected date filter.
To count as conversion, the user must have performed the other steps within selected conversion window after first perfoming step 1 event .
While not performing exclusion event between steps 1 and 2.
Users can not rejoin the funnel after dropping or converting.
And so on...
