Guidance on Tracking Events for Media App Analytics

Hi, Rinitha here from India. I'm currently interning at a media company where we release content on an app (both iOS and Android). We have already setup the events to be tracked and have some basic dashboards set up. However we do not know if we are tracking the RIGHT events. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
