To aggregate a value from a List of Objects property in Mixpanel's Insights dashboard, you can use the Property Computation feature specifically designed for List of Objects properties. Here's how you can do it:1. Select the List of Objects property in your Insights query. 2. You'll be prompted to select a property common to the objects in the list. 3. Then, you can choose from the following property computations: - Size: This gives you the length of the list as a numeric property. - Sum: You'll be asked to select a numeric property within the objects of the list. This will calculate the total sum for that property across the whole list. - Distinct Count: You'll select a property within the objects of the list. This will give you the number of unique values for that property in the list. These computations work similarly to custom properties in Mixpanel. For example, if you have a List of Objects property representing items in a cart, you could: - Get the number of items (Size) - Calculate the total price of all items (Sum of a 'price' property) - Count the number of unique brands (Distinct Count of a 'brand' property)This functionality allows you to perform aggregations on complex data structures directly within the Insights dashboard.List of Objects Property SupportRemember that List of Objects property support is limited to the first 5 objects within the list property by default. If you're on a paid plan and need to increase this limit, you can submit a request to Mixpanel support.
