If I am at the customer success team and I want everyday to see which users are supposed to do the onboarding of my saas product, what report would you use? the team should be able to see the delta, which means they have to be able to identify which are these users, what is the best approach? which reports?

To address your question about monitoring users who are supposed to complete onboarding for your SaaS product on a daily basis, I would recommend using a combination of Mixpanel's features, specifically the View Users functionality and Cohort analysis. Here's how you can approach this:1. View Users: The View Users feature in Mixpanel allows you to see the specific users contributing to a metric or point on a chart. This can be particularly useful for identifying users who are in the onboarding process.Mixpanel Docs: View Users explains that you can: - See users contributing to any metric and view their recent activities & properties. - Save these users as a cohort. - Export these users to a CSV file.2. Cohort Analysis: By creating a cohort of users who have started but not completed onboarding, you can easily track and identify these users on a daily basis.Mixpanel Blog: How to conduct cohort analysis describes how to set up cohorts in Mixpanel: - Click on "users" and add filters to show users that fall into a given category. - For your case, you could create a cohort of users who started onboarding within the last X days but haven't completed it. - Save and name this cohort for easy access.3. Funnel Analysis: To track the progress of users through the onboarding process, you can use funnel analysis.Mixpanel Blog: Top 9 user onboarding metrics mentions: "With product analytics, you can set up funnels to identify when and where users are dropping out of an onboarding process. You can attach funnel events to each button, field, or form that needs to be completed."By combining these approaches, your customer success team can: 1. Create a cohort of users who have started but not completed onboarding. 2. Use View Users to see the specific individuals in this cohort daily. 3. Use funnel analysis to track where these users are in the onboarding process. 4. Export the list of users if needed for follow-up actions. This approach allows you to identify the specific users who need to complete onboarding and track their progress, providing the delta (change) in onboarding completion that you're looking for.
