Hi! I created a cohort encompassing all the companies which are performing less than a certain number of events (to identify potential churn). I created this cohort within a group property Company called "OF" (one company/OF can have several users). This group property has a property 'Onboarding status'. I can't seem to have a breakdown by Onboarding status, which would show the evolution of unique OF within each Onboarding status. Adding the property in the breakdown section doesn't change anything.
kapa.ai Hi! I created a cohort encompassing all the companies which are performing less than a certain number of events (to identify potential churn). I created this cohort within a group property Company called âOFâ (one company/OF can have several users). This group property has a property âOnboarding statusâ. Based on the information provided in the knowledge sources, I can offer some insights into your situation, but I may not have enough specific information to fully address your issue. Let me explain what I can based on the available information: 1. Cohort Creation: You've correctly created a cohort based on group-level behavior (companies performing fewer than a certain number of events). This is a good approach for identifying potential churn at the company level.2. Group Analytics: You're using Group Analytics, which allows for analysis at a customized group level (in your case, companies). This is correct for your use case. Group Analytics is an add-on feature available for Enterprise and Growth plans.3. Group Properties: You've mentioned a group property called "OF" (representing companies) which has a property 'Onboarding status'. This is in line with how group properties work in Mixpanel.4. Breakdown Issues: The problem you're experiencing with breakdowns not working as expected is not directly addressed in the provided knowledge sources. However, I can suggest a few things to check: a. Ensure that 'Onboarding status' is indeed a property of the "OF" group and not a user-level property. Group properties and user properties are treated differently in Mixpanel.
b. Check if the 'Onboarding status' property has been receiving data recently. As mentioned in the Properties Menu documentation, some menus only show properties that have been ingested within the last 30 days.
c. Verify that you have the necessary permissions to access and use this group property for breakdowns.5. Alternative Approach: If you continue to have issues, you might want to try creating a temporary cohort for your analysis. As mentioned in the Advanced Filter & Breakdown Usage section, you can create a temporary cohort by clicking "Create CustomâŚ" in the dropdown menu and selecting "Cohort".If these suggestions don't resolve your issue, it's possible that there might be a specific limitation or bug related to breakdowns on group properties in cohorts that isn't covered in the provided knowledge sources. In this case, it would be best to contact Mixpanel's support team directly for more specialized assistance.
