Can I set up this kind of Alert?
I wanna track the Weekly Total Session Count.
If today is Monday, I do not need to know the weekly total session count. (because still Monday)
On Saturday, the end of the whole week, I wanna set up alert to track the Weekly Total Session Count in this week.

Yes, you can set up this kind of alert in Mixpanel. Here's how you can configure it based on your requirements:1. First, you'll need to use the "Session Start" event to track session counts in Mixpanel Docs Features > Sessions> .2. Create an Insights report that shows the total number of sessions over time, using the "Session Start" event Docs Features > Sessions> .3. Set up a custom alert for this report: - Go to the report, click the 3 dots icon, select Alerts, and then Create Alert Docs Features > Alerts> . - Choose "Custom Threshold" as the alert type Docs Features > Alerts> . - Set the frequency to weekly, which will align with your requirement to check on Saturdays Docs Features > Alerts> . - Configure the threshold based on your specific needs (e.g., above or below a certain number of sessions) Docs Features > Alerts> .4. For the alert delivery, you can set it to email or Slack, depending on your preference Docs Features > Alerts> .By setting the frequency to weekly, the alert will only trigger once a week, which aligns with your requirement to check on Saturdays. This setup will effectively give you the Weekly Total Session Count at the end of each week.Remember that you may need to adjust the exact day of the week based on your project's timezone settings, as Mixpanel uses the project timezone for all dates and times Docs Reports Overview> .

I understand you want to track the sum of total session counts from Sunday to Saturday, rather than just for Saturday. You can definitely set this up in Mixpanel. Here's how you can modify the previous approach to achieve this:1. First, create an Insights report that shows the total number of sessions over time, using the "Session Start" event Docs Features > Sessions> .2. In the report settings, set the time bucket to "Week" to aggregate data on a weekly basis. This will ensure that each data point represents a full week from Sunday to Saturday Docs Reports > Insights> .3. Now, set up a custom alert for this report: - Go to the report, click the 3 dots icon, select Alerts, and then Create Alert Docs Features > Alerts> . - Choose "Custom Threshold" as the alert type Docs Features > Alerts> . - Set the frequency to weekly. This will ensure the alert checks the data every week Docs Features > Alerts> . - Configure the threshold based on your specific needs (e.g., above or below a certain number of sessions for the week) Docs Features > Alerts> .4. For the alert delivery, you can set it to email or Slack, depending on your preference Docs Features > Alerts> .This setup will track the sum of total session counts from Sunday to Saturday and alert you based on your specified threshold. The weekly aggregation in the Insights report ensures that you're looking at the full week's data, not just Saturday's data.Remember to adjust the exact day of the week for the alert based on your project's timezone settings, as Mixpanel uses the project timezone for all dates and times Docs Reports Overview> .
