Duration of Removed Property Visibility in Event Reports Dropdowns
If I remove a property from an event X so that new events no longer have this property, for how long will the removed property continue to show up on the dropdowns in the reports?

If you remove a property from an event, it will continue to show up in the dropdowns in the reports for 28 days. Mixpanel's report dropdown menus hide event properties and property values that have not been sent to your project in the last 28 days. However, if you want to have a property that's older than 30 days show in the dropdowns, you can fire a single instance of that event, property, or property value and the data will resurface it in the UI. If you know the name of the property, you can also search for it by typing the name in the dropdown menu (case sensitive) source.

Yes, it's the same for property values. If a property value has not been sent to your project in the last 28 days, it will be hidden from the dropdowns in the reports. So, in your example, if property Y can only be equal to A or B now, the value C will disappear from report dropdowns after 28 days. However, you can resurface it in the UI by firing a single instance of that event with the property value C. You can also search for it by typing the value in the dropdown menu (case sensitive) source.
