I want to know how many new users I have each week. How can I see the distribution of each cohort of the first_seen properties?

To analyze new users each week and see the distribution of cohorts based on the first_seen property in Mixpanel, you can use the Insights report. Here's how you can set this up: 1. Go to the Insights report in Mixpanel. 2. Create a new metric by clicking on "+ Metrics" and selecting "Cohorts" as the metric type. 3. Choose the cohort that represents your new users. If you don't have one, you may need to create a cohort based on the first_seen property. 4. Set the measurement to "Total Users" to count the number of users in each cohort. 5. In the date range selector, choose the time period you want to analyze (e.g., last 3 months). 6. Set the chart interval to "Weekly" to see the distribution for each week. This setup will show you the number of new users for each week based on their first_seen property. For a more detailed breakdown, you can use the "Breakdown" feature: 1. Click on the "Breakdown" button. 2. Select the "first_seen" property as your breakdown. 3. This will give you a distribution of users based on when they were first seen in your product. You can visualize this data using different chart types, such as a line chart to see trends over time, or a bar chart to compare different weeks side by side. For more information on creating and using cohorts in Mixpanel, you can refer to the Cohorts documentation. If you need to perform more complex analyses or custom calculations, you might want to consider using Mixpanel's JQL (JSON Query Language) for advanced querying capabilities.Remember that the exact steps might vary slightly depending on your Mixpanel setup and the specific data you have available. If you encounter any issues or need more specific guidance, I recommend consulting Mixpanel's documentation or reaching out to their support team.
