I am currently on the startup plan. If I increase the event volume under the annual plan before my credits expire, will the credits fully cover the plan fee if I upgrade before they expire?

Based on the knowledge sources, there appears to be a change in how the Mixpanel startup program works. There are two different versions: 1. The newer version (launched September 2024) provides eligible startups with a dedicated "Startup Plan" that includes all features for free for the first year with up to 1 billion annual events.2. The legacy credit-based program (prior to September 2024) provided 50,000. After one year, the unused credits expire and are no longer valid." Startup Program DocumentationIf you upgrade to a higher event volume plan before your credits expire, the credits should apply to cover the costs up to the $50,000 limit. However, the knowledge sources don't explicitly address what happens when upgrading within the credit period. For a definitive answer about upgrading your plan while on the legacy credit-based program, I'd recommend reaching out directly to the Mixpanel startup team at startups@mixpanel.com as suggested in the documentation: "If you are in the earlier version of the Mixpanel for Startups program which utilized 'startup credits' and have specific questions regarding your account, please reach out to startups@mixpanel.com."
