You're correct in thinking that there should typically be only one initial_referrer property is designed to capture the very first referrer for a user when they first arrive on your site. According to the Mixpanel documentation:Traffic Attribution: Analyze your marketing channels states:"These properties are stored in the Mixpanel cookie the first time a user comes to your site and will not change on future site visits as long as the cookie is not cleared."However, if you're seeing two different initial_referrer.2. Cookie clearing: If the user clears their cookies in one browser, Mixpanel will treat their next visit as a new user, potentially resulting in a new initial_referrer values being set on each visit. To get a more accurate picture of unique users across browsers, you might need to implement cross-browser user identification. This typically involves using a server-side approach to identify users consistently across different browsers and devices. If you believe this behavior is occurring unexpectedly within the same browser without the user clearing cookies or using private browsing, it might be worth investigating your implementation or reaching out to Mixpanel support for further assistance.
