You can indeed hold an event property constant when creating a funnel in Mixpanel, not just user properties. This feature is called "Hold Property Constant" and it's available for event properties as well. Here's how it works:1. When you create a funnel, expand the "Advanced" menu in the Conversion Criteria section. 2. Click on "Holding property constant". 3. Select the event property you want to hold constant across all steps of the funnel. It's important to note that you can only select event properties that apply to all of the events in your funnel. You can select up to 3 properties to hold constant at the same time.Holding a property constant requires that a user retains the same value for a given event property for each step in order to convert. This means a user must not only perform the funnel events in the order you specified, but also perform these events with the same property value. For example, if you're analyzing an e-commerce funnel (Browse > Add to Cart > Purchase) and want to examine the conversion of users who browse, add to cart, and purchase the same item, you would hold the "Item Name" property constant. The way this is counted depends on your selected counting method:- For "Uniques": Mixpanel will hold constant the property value from the first Step 1 event. - For "Totals" or "Sessions": Mixpanel will hold the property constant that is set with each new re-entry at the Step 1 event. This feature allows you to analyze more specific user behaviors and conversion paths within your funnel.Mixpanel Docs: Funnels - Hold Property Constant
