Creating User-Based Dashboards to Show Metrics like Annual Contract Value

·
·

Is there any way to create dashboards that show metrics based on user / group profiles themselves rather than events? For example, if I had "Customer Annual Contract Value" as a user property, could I make a table showing each user and their Customer Annual Contract Value?

Yes, Mixpanel allows you to create dashboards and reports based on user or group profile properties without necessarily relying on events. This capability is particularly useful for analyzing metrics derived from profile data, such as the "Customer Annual Contract Value" you mentioned. Here's how you can approach this:1. User Profiles: Mixpanel's User Profiles feature allows you to store and analyze demographic attributes about your users, including properties like "Customer Annual Contract Value" User Profile: Demographic attributes for your users.2. Users Report: Mixpanel has a dedicated Users page that allows you to filter users and gain a deeper understanding of how they interact with your website or application. This page aggregates and organizes user profiles, facilitating a granular view into individual users or groups of users Users: Explore your user base in Mixpanel.3. Creating Reports: In Mixpanel's Insights report, you can create metrics based on user or group profiles. When setting up a metric, you can choose "Profile" as the metric type. This allows you to measure the number of profiles or aggregate properties of the profiles Insights: Visualize trends and compositions within your data Basic Features> .4. Customizing Table Columns: In the Users report, you can modify what data is displayed in the Users table. By clicking on "Edit Columns," you can select or deselect the profile properties you wish to display, such as "Customer Annual Contract Value" Users: Explore your user base in Mixpanel.5. Group Analytics: If you're dealing with company-level data rather than individual users, Mixpanel's Group Analytics feature allows you to analyze data at a group level (such as by company or account) Group Analytics: Group users together as an aggregated unit of measurement.By leveraging these features, you should be able to create a dashboard or report that shows metrics based on user or group profile properties, including a table displaying each user and their Customer Annual Contract Value.Remember that to use these features effectively, you need to ensure that your user profiles are properly set up and populated with the relevant data User Profile: Demographic attributes for your users.
