“Mixpanel’s pricing structure is frankly disingenuous.” “Mixpanel is a burden to manage.” “Setting up Mixpanel takes too long. I want to just ‘go’.” “I ‘upgraded’ from their free tier to a paid tier and was DOWNGRADED on events. Does that make any sense???” The first rule of product is: listen to your users. And for too long, we haven’t been doing that. Until now. We're excited to share that our Growth plans are now 100x cheaper, starting at $0 for your first 1M events. And we’re also rolling out Autocapture, which enables you to set up Mixpanel in <2 minutes. Now, with our Growth plans, before paying a single cent, get access to: ✅ 1M free events / month to track your key metrics ✅ 20K Session Replays / month to see how users experience your product ✅ Unlimited reports ✅ Advanced analytical features (like cohorts for behavioral segmentation) ✅ Autocapture for effortless setup and faster insights Take a look and let us know what you think, or DM me directly with questions! And, if you're a fan of this change, give us an upvote on Product Hunt. 🙏
Great update Abby B.. Thank you for this. I’d like to add one point regarding Session Replay. Our product is built on Flutter, and currently, Mixpanel does not offer a Flutter SDK for Session Replay. This means we are unable to take advantage of this feature for both our web and mobile apps. The beauty of Flutter lies in its ability to build a single app for multiple platforms, but without this SDK, we are missing out on this valuable functionality. I encourage you to consider offering Session Replay for Flutter-based apps. At the moment, the only alternative on the market is Smartlook, but it’s not an analytics platform. By integrating session recording with analytics for Flutter apps (both web and mobile), you would be the only analytics platform offering this, and as the number of Flutter apps continues to grow—especially with the increasing popularity of tools like FlutterFlow—this could be a significant advantage for Mixpanel.
