New features for enhanced B2B account analytics! | @channel
Two new features built for B2B analysis are now available for customers with the Group Analytics add-on! You can now improve adoption and reduce churn risk by monitoring strategic accounts with out-of-the-box Account Profiles and Activation Metrics. You can now answer questions such as:
Who are the power users within our strategic accounts?
How active are users within our strategic accounts?
How are users within our strategic accounts flowing through our activation funnels?
What are potential upsell opportunities for our strategic accounts?
To access the new features, customers will need the Group Analytics add-on. In addition, you will need to turn on the advanced B2B Account Analytics functionality, steps for which are here. Once done, Account Profiles will automatically be created per each account, and can be accessed in the Users tab. You can also share Account Profiles with key stakeholders for simple account health reporting, such as Sales teams, Customer Success teams, and executives. To identify your Account Activation Metrics, head over to an insights report and use the new computed property now available: Number of users who did… (then select an event). This property makes it easy to create reports to track account activation, i.e., their adoption progress as an account. We have also deprecated the Revenue App as of Dec. 31, 2024. Thanks to our recently released Revenue Analytics, you can rebuild this report (and more) and save anything you create to dashboards. This help document guides you through step-by-step.*Requires ingesting revenue data from Data Warehouse Connectors.
if we already had a company group property set up, is it possible to switch to this enhanced B2B Analytics ?
It says you need data warehouse. I think that’s the reason you don’t see it. It happens to me the same way I have an enterprise plan
Hi Charlotte E., yes you should be able to navigate to your project setting, then click the pencil button next to the key you want to set as company profile and enable the toggle.
Hey Eric N., I love this feature. It will be incredibly powerful for our Success Managers to engage an account at a company level and then drill down. I've been using it for a while now, and one feature request immediately jumped out at me to help me get an impression of our power users. Some context first... We have internal folks firing off events on company accounts when providing support. As a result of this behavioural pattern, I would like to filter out our internal cohort from this B2B account view. That way, we're not cluttering this view with events and names of our internal cohort. TL;DR Could you add the ability to globally filter (possibly even break down, but that's nice-to-have) on specific cohorts/properties in the B2B Account Analytics view? Until we have this capability, it's going to be tricky for me to drive the adoption of this feature internally.
Ohhhh thankkkssss. I didn’t know this. I’ll provide feedback soon
This is a really great addition and will be super useful. I’ve a few questions:
Is there a way to edit the charts? (the Account Activation Metrics link provided is broken and Computed property type seems to have disappeared from the UI)
Is there a way for me to use a company property in a formula along with some of the charts here. e.g. if a company had a property total employees we could use it to calculate percentage active employees.
Being able to create tables or cohorts of companies with low engagement or activation based on a property like I mention in #2 would be super useful for customer success teams.
Thanks for your time!
