🛠️ Start building with Foundational Templates 🛠️ Mixpanel's Foundational Templates make it simple for anyone to get answers to important product questions as soon as data is available. Our templates create out-of-the-box and fully customizable Boards: collections of reports accompanied by instructions designed to guide you section by section. Give them a spin:
Create a new Board
Click "Use a template"
Select your template, add your inputs and watch the magic happen
🤑 This feature is available to everybody, free of charge! Here's a Loom demo of one of our new templates in action. And Mixpanel users can get started with templates right away with this link.✨
Good way to get started. A use case from my company: we share one AB test board with team members by duplicating and editing. Would be great to add custom boards to this ❤️
Seconding Federico, this is a great step in the right direction, would absolutely love to be able to define our own templates around this, ideally including creating a new cohort etc, so that every new feature launch, it's a quick little wizard type experience with MixPanel to have consistent reports that allow us to see a standardised report of our feature launch, and we could then compare these reports between features etc, or look at the first 30 days of each launch for a good comparison, etc
Eg it would be great to be able to compare the number and size of orders that a new feature is driving etc - eg a few very large orders vs lots of very small orders. Obviously this lets us have a baseline that we can then tweak, but we'd love to be able to constantly update a template over time and simply re-create the dashboard for each feature as we do so, to easily get them all updated to the latest version. I hope that context helps a bit =] Would also be really neat if we could generate a Impact report for these feature launches too (filtered to performing the launch event after that window so we can exclude internal testing/soft launches), and I know these can't currently be shown on Dashboards, but if we could include a link to it from the Dashboard using the Text tiles that would be fantastic!
