Ah! You're actually right here- I went back to a report I'd had MCP remove from a board earlier, and it was fully deleted. When I first checked, I had a cached version open in the browser, which is why I thought it survived. I'm going to flag that the tool description for that operation needs to be clearer about what it deletes, and will submit a separate gap around recovery for deleted reports. Appreciate you for pushing on this!

The Version History would help for if AI emptied reports. Definitely let me know if you run into AI deleting a report directly though- I did some testing to try to force it to, but it just guided me to manually delete in the UI or would remove it from the Board (which can look similar to deletion if you don't have a link/ report name on hand)

It doesn't currently work if the report is deleted, but I'm also not aware of any paths for AI to delete a report directly. They can remove reports from a Board or delete an entire Board, which does take its reports with it, but deleted Boards can be recovered by writing to Support. Is there a specific report you ran into being deleted? Or was an entire Board deleted?

Hey Vlad! There isn't a full project-level backup today, but we're currently rolling out Version History for reports, which lets you see past versions of a report and revert query changes, including those made by AI. That covers reports rather than the whole project, so the broader "undo anything an AI tool touched" gap is still open. It's on our radar and I've also passed your feedback along to the team.

Hi there! Julianne from Mixpanel Support here. Mixpanel doesn’t currently support creating a native Gaussian/ bell-curve visualization directly in reports. The closest in-product option would be to use Custom Buckets in Insights to group the numeric values into ranges and visualize the counts as a bar chart. This gives a histogram-like view of the distribution, though it won’t fit or overlay a Gaussian curve If you need an actual fitted Gaussian/normal distribution curve, the best workaround would be to export the data and analyze it externally. Apologies for not having better news there. I’ve also filed this as a product gap on your behalf so our Product team has visibility into the request for native Gaussian curves support. Let me know if you have any questions on the above!

Thanks for sending that screenshot- definitely clearer what is happening. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the behavior of not all values being shown in the image is expected for reports with a lot of breakdowns. I see how this is not ideal, especially if you’re relying on Slack subscriptions to share reporting with teammates who don’t have direct access to Mixpanel. I've gone ahead and logged a feature request with the product team for your specific use case. There isn’t a better setting or workaround for increasing the Slack subscription image size today. If you aren't tied to a bar chart, the metric view image contains up to 8 segments, which may work for this specific example. Outside of that, you could split/simplify the chart so the subscribed snapshot is fully captured in the image. Another option would be to use a password-protected Public Board, which would allow the user to see the full report.
