i believe the workaround is that you create a custom event that includes all your events (or the most meaningful ones)

Understanding Step-by-Step Conversion Rates in Any Ordered Funnels

kapa.ai How do step-by-step conversion works in "Any Ordered" funnels? I'm specifically wondering how the "step-by-step" conversion rates are calculated and how the map the the events in the funnel. When re-ordering the steps, none of the Step-by-step conversion rate change for me. I can understand the full funnel conversion (users who completed all events in any order), but I'd like to understand the step specific conversions better.

perhaps easiest to achieve using a funnel. Just set the conversion window to 3 days. As the 2nd step in the funnel, you can use a custom event that includes whichever events you are looking for

Depends a bit on you specific set-up and skill-set.

1.
You can ensure that profile properties are set on app open, that way all users who open the app again will get the properties set.
2.
Create a script to update the user properties with values. You can use this python library https://github.com/mixpanel/mixpanel-utils

Hi! Is anyone here familiar with "Any Ordered" funnels? I'm specifically wondering how the "step-by-step" conversion rates are calculated and how the map the the events in the funnel. When re-ordering the steps, none of the Step-by-step conversion rate change for me. I can understand the full funnel conversion (users who completed all events in any order), but I'd like to understand the step specific conversions better. Thanks!
