We're using iterable for messaging, and we pump all our email click/open/delivered data into Mixpanel so we can tie activity back to email campaigns. But have seen that 30-40% of clicks don't actually seem to trigger the respective in-product event in Mixpanel. Initially we thought it was an authentication thing but even if users hit a gate they should trigger step 3 in this funnel. Is this something others have seen? Could it be fake clicks from email providers, or something that's broken in how we're identifying users?
