I have found a few threads related to handling anonymous users but not a definite answer on the best practice… • We have mostly authenticated users, but there are a few pages (like login, signup, and few more) that have anonymous traffic. • Vast majority of the analytics we are tracking is for the authenticated users, but we want to keep the tracking on those few anonymous pages as well. • However, it’s fine to just have an aggregated metrics (totals). If we tracking every user on those pages individually, then we worry that there could be spikes caused by ad-hoc traffic that get us over the MTU. Is there a way to track the anonymous users, not individually, but as one “anonymous” user identity, so that it doesn’t count as separate MTUs?
