Hey! I’d like some help please. I’m trying to create a funnel report. There is the functionality of comparing two steps, but I would like to merge them. So that I would see all the users who did
1A
or
1B
and then
2
. Just summing the numbers (71 and 45) does not work because there is overlap in
1A
and
1B
. The use case if that helps to clarify: We are trying to track all the users who used a promotional offer
1
and then started a trial
2
. Some of the users manually insert a promo code
1B
and some users get a promo by using a link
1A
. But in some cases, due to technical issues users do both
1A
and
1B
. While writing this I understood that we could create a new event that tracks both on
1A
and on
1B
and then it would be simple to create a report. However, this does not work for historical data. So I’m still going to post in case someone knows a good solution without creating a new event. Thanks! (included image shows the report when comparing two steps, which I don’t actually want to do, but it helps to visualise)
