Tracking customer events in mobile and webapp

Need some advice.  Currently we are a mobile first app.  But pretty soon we will be launching our Webapp.  So customers can either login through their mobile app or through a browser on their laptop/desktop to interact with our platform. 

What's the best way to setup these two environments in Mixpanel?  How do I keep track of customer events regardless of where they login from?  How do I differentiate between web and mobile events?
