Does anyone have an opinion on either? I use Segment to push events downstream and their documentation is not consistent. Figured I'd see if the Mixpanel community has a preference. Their documentation ended up causing inconsistent syntax in my reporting.

I would recommend using Proper Case / Title Case for all event names and properties. This is the casing strategy the Mixpanel client side library uses. Ex: “User ID”, “Browser Version”, “Current URL”. Choosing a different strategy will cause your events and properties to look differently than MP system properties. Which will make it difficult to keep a standard casing convention.
