Is there a way to set time between two events?

I want to know the time that it takes between two specific events (in other words the time it takes from Event A to Event 😎 .

Anyone have a quick solution for that?

@toddg's answer is correct. If you want to take it a step further and actually record the time that was taken in your event, you can do that with https://mixpanel.com/help/reference/javascript-full-api-reference#mixpanel.time_event.


Now your events will have a $duration property.

Hi Frank - An easy way would be to set up a funnel. Step 1 - Event 1, Step 2 - Event 2. Then you when you click on Step 2 it will tell you the avg time it took to convert from Step 1. I think if you segment by email or user or whatever, you can see it for each person that goes through the funnel.

Hi,
Is there any way to keep track of the duration between events when using the analytics segment library(https://github.com/segmentio/analytics-react-native) ?

Since it functions as a wrapper, have you tried using this documentation to utilize the time_event? You could also use Sessions to run your analysis.
