Track_charge not working

Everything is going great with my installation and setup of Mixpanel, except I can’t get mixpanel.people.track_charge to fire from either JS or Ruby. When running debug in JS mode, it just seems to be ignored and not sent to the server.

It literally looks like it isn’t firing at all. Am I doing something dumb? Is track_charge only implemented in certain plans? Are the docs out of date?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @cyberk,

Where are you looking for revenue report?

It does not show up in live-view. It’s only available on people properties and the revenue tab which is a bit hide in the top right corner.

Aha, I had not seen that revenue report before, and I finally discovered that when using track_charge it doesn’t show up in live view as an event but is on the $transactions element of the people object. I see how this all works now. Thank you!
