Mixpanel init returning 502

Badge

Hi!

I'm currently getting 502 as a response for the following request. I believe it is made when I call window.init(). I've being using mixpanel for at least a month, an I've never noticed this error before.

Is this a known error?

Hi @leticiativeronbt -

Thank you for letting us know what you are seeing. First of all, sorry for the inconvenience here.

We recently became aware of an issue with our Decide endpoint, which is meant to serve in-apps and A/B tests. Our engineering staff is working on it, and we will post updates on our status page: https://status.mixpanel.com/ as well as following up directly on this thread. To get emailed updates, make sure you "Follow" this post via the button on the upper right hand corner of this page.

This will not prevent the library from loading or tracking events, just from serving in-apps and A/B tests.

Thanks for your patience while we work through this. We will update you as soon as we have more news.

This incident has been resolved — our engineering team was able to push a couple fixes to bring decide servers back to full functionality. We will continue to monitor the incident and share additional reports if there are status changes.

Thanks for reaching out about this, and for your patience as we investigated a fix! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions, or if there's anything else I or my team can do to assist.
