Improving page speed (Mixpanel javascript)

Has anyone faced the issue of Google’s Core Web Vitals being negatively impacted by using analytics tools, namely Mixpanel in this case? I ran some tests and I have seen definite speed score improvements by removing tools like GA, New Relic, and unfortunately Mixpanel.

Of course, tools like this are essential to businesses and understanding what’s going on. So if removing them altogether isn’t an option, has anyone figured out a way to improve the performance of the Mixpanel client-side js? We have our Mixpanel js near the bottom of the <head> tag.

I also have a prefetch tag in the head, like so:

<link rel="dns-prefetch" href="">

Should I move the js to the bottom of the DOM? Any other tips to speed things up?
