Importing Google Ads Spend to mixpanel?

Hey there!

We have been using Mixpanel now for a little while to help track a lot of our advertising and marketing reports and efforts.  The one biggest missing piece is adspend, and being able to bring that into mixpanel.  So far we have had a really hard time trying to figure this out.  Does anyone have any experience with how we would be able to bring in our google advertising spend into mixpanel?

@Josh_EnvisionDigital is this something you can help with?

Same issue, is there a solution to import this from Google Ads via API?

I asked Google support and they shared this doc.

Maybe developers would need to connect with Google Ads API and fetch that data into Mixpanel: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/2375503

We are gonna try out, unsure if it’d work.
Meanwhile Mixpanel team, please share some info how we can solve this.

Thanks!

@Jimmy and @OneChillCow you could use our lookup table feature to import the data or manually add it in your insights reports using the formulas. Because Mixpanel is event based tracking you would need to structure the spend as an event, event property or user profile property for it to properly be analysed.
