The Mixpanel Community is a place for you to come and share new product ideas, ask questions, plan your analytics strategy, find technical solutions, and learn from the best on how to most effectively use Mixpanel. While we want this to be a transparent community with free flowing discussion, we do have some guidelines that go beyond, “Don’t use bad language.”
When creating an account, please edit your profile to include your company, title, and a photo (if you can). Try to use your @business address so we can better identify you and route your question, idea, or concern to the appropriate person at Mixpanel.
Become a power user
Have the answer to someone’s question? Feel free to jump in and share your knowledge. We reward our top power users with Mixpanel swag. There is no stigma in being a “know-it-all here”. In fact we encourage it!
Do not misrepresent yourself (lie about your identity, affiliations, or age). In other words, don’t pretend to be someone that you’re not. Also- don’t intentionally give misleading or false information. We want to provide real answers to real people.
Keep it clean
We are all for free discourse. However, we also want to make it clear that cursing, harassment, threatening language, violent content, and sexual material are not permitted in this community.
Do not spam- we have zero tolerance for it.
If it is relevant to the conversation, by all means please share information about products and services that you love. However, do not user the Mixpanel Community to prospect or link out to your website. Our moderators will regulate on this behavior.
If you don’t have the right to publish that content, please do not post it.
One you = one account
Please create only one account per person.
Trying to get a rise out of someone? Go some place else.
No Hate Speech
Don’t post any content that demeans, defames, or promotes discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.
If you violate these Community Guidelines, we may remove the offending content, terminate your account, or even notify law enforcement. If your account is terminated for violating our Terms of Service or these Guidelines, you may not use Mixpanel Community again. Please take these Guidelines seriously and honor them in the spirit in which they are intended. We’ll do our best to enforce them consistently and fairly, and ultimately we’ll try to do what we think is best in each situation. Thank you for reading!
