We have an app where we track the actions of logged in users. We want to know how many times a user looked at a specific item (each item is on a separate page) before the user pressed one of the 5 action buttons. How can we do that?

Hey @Sim,

Not sure if I have the whole picture but it sounds like Insights might be helpful to see the total count of events. Example, How many times did a user do X event in the last 30 days.

The Flows report might also be useful for you to see what you users do starting and ending in certain events.

For knowing how many times did a user do X events before they do X certain steps, this might require some custom JQL.

Hello @sim and @oliverh,

The Frequency visualization in the Funnels report gives you a distributed count of either:

  1. How many times their users did a Step 1 funnel event prior to converting to Step 2,
  2. How many times a user did Step 1 before dropping off.

We have also recently released the Conversion Rate option which shows the Conversion rate of your users at any particular frequency interval.
