(Thinkific) Prevent students from sharing logins

I am currently running an LMS on Thinkific. One of the concerns we have is a user sharing their account. On Thinkific’s FAQ page, it says: “You can also use our Mixpanel integration for monitoring student activity. This integration makes login sharing even easier to spot. You'll be able to see whether the same account is being accessed from multiple locations. But make sure to keep in mind that it may just be the same person on different devices of course!”

I have tried going through the tutorials but I’m still unable to figure out how to create a report that would help me track whether an account is being accessed from multiple locations!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

I would recommend pulling an event up in Insights, such as ‘Course Landing Page,’ and using the breakdown feature in the query builder to break it down by a property that would indicate multiple users — likely a device or location property. Does your integration track these default properties?

I’d certainly take this information with a grain of salt — Thinkific called out to  “keep in mind that it may just be the same person on different devices of course” but it could be a way to flag an account.

Let me know if that helps!

Tell me, what are the Thinkific analogues?

What functionality are we talking about?

In general, Tinkfink is a very good tool that allows you to conveniently interact with students. I think a lot of tools are not that cool. I also really love adding interactions with https://edubirdie.com/research-paper-help to help my students on the course. All of them need convenient gadgets during their studies, so that their work process proceeds calmly and without nerves. I think this is very important during training.
