Insights Report Conditional Filter

Evaluating the product using the free version. Desire ability to have multiple filter conditions using “or” (EX: eventPropertyOne [contains] “apple” -OR- eventPropertyOne [contains] “orange”) to display results in a line graph.  The Insights report appears to have the SQL-like capability displayed in the Filter vs Breakdown help page (https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001236083-Filter-vs-Breakdown) and the text reads like an “or” condition on a filter exists. My preference would be to be able to build the SQL-like “where” clause in the displayed 2nd and 3rd frame (non-MixPanel familiarity). The conditional Filter would appear to work as well. I either don’t know how to access either of those features or the free version doesn’t include the capability. Is there a help page that may point me in the right direction?

Hi @Keith T thanks for posting, can you share what you mean by 2nd and 3rd frame? You can use the filter to detail “where” statements in your query in the insights report in a line graph.

Are you able to test this out in the sample dataset to see if you can reach your desired outcome? The free version will have full filter and breakdown capability and the sample datasets have all our reports unlocked if you wanted to test further https://mixpanel.com/get-started/?explore=True
