Sending Push Notifications Programatically

I have a mobile iOS app and I'd like to route all of my push notifications through MixPanel so I can have tracking information. Certain push notifications are triggered in the back end if certain criteria is met as an alert. For instance, this is a finance app, and we're alerting the user if they've spent more than a specific amount. Again, this all happens on the back end so I'm wondering if there's a way to trigger a push notification through mixpanel programmatically from my back end?

Hi @sisrani, Stephanie here from the Community team!

Currently there is no programatic way of sending push notifications. All Mixpanel messages must be created and sent from within the user interface. I think this is a great feedback on our available features. Mind posting this in the Ideas section (rather than Q&A) so that it can get some votes from the community and better visibility from our product team? We would appreciate as much detail as possible!

Also, when you post as an Idea, you can follow the Idea and receive emailed updates on the progress.
