In-app message

This is my first time to send in-app message. I set up the sending time 'now'. And nothing happened after 30 minutes. Is that meaning there is some unmet criteria? What should I do to send messages? I filled out everything.

Hey @slvit! I had a similar issue in the past similar to this one and had to take a few steps to tackle it down and get it working. Below I noted the steps I took that helped me get my in-app going.

1.Some things that I noticed is that Mixpanel messages require using one of their many Mixpanel SDKs.

2. Make sure that you are using the latest version of their Mixpanel SDK

- to do this, you can look at one of your events in live view, the SDK and the SDK version are listed under Mixpanel Properties.

3. Mixpanel message targeting runs off of Mixpanel People profiles, make sure that you set your targeting to include the profiles that you want to receive the message.

4. Delivery of the a web in-app is triggered when you call identify client-side.

- documented here: https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004724586-Send-Web-In-App-Messages

5. Delivery of a mobile in-app is triggered via the following:

- Scheduling: https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004708963-Send-Mobile-In-App-Messages#schedule-an-inapp-message

- Event Triggers: https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004708963-Send-Mobile-In-App-Messages#eventtriggered-inapp-messages

I hope these steps help you out!

Hi. linda kim.

Thank you for your delicate answer and it was so helpful. There was some issue on SDK(Actually I'm not a developer so I asked to developers to understand it.) and we plan to solve this by following your directions.

Thanks again!

Same problem here, my in-app message never gets sent even if criteria matches. Screenshot here: http://tinyurl.com/y6stvy64
