It would be great to have a way to add annotations or comments to reports that are visible on the dashboards. It would be useful to be able to add context that might otherwise be forgotten (especially when someone else looks at the data in the future).
Two specific use-cases that come to mind (and which actually triggered my research into seeing whether it’s possible today) are:
- a comment about a service outage which results in lower engagement on a specific day
- a comment to document when a change was made on the sign-up flow which might result in a higher (or lower) conversion rate from that moment onwards
