User flow across my web app and mobile app

Hi,

I am trying to create user journeys across my web app page and my mobile app page. So far I just installed mixpanel to do that, since on Firebase it has been very hard to do so.

I am a bit lost, from where do I start? How do I make the setup for a journey that has cross platforms? Do I need to customize specific events?

Let me know if you have any ideas.

Hi @islamellawendy  - yes. In Mixpanel you pretty much have to send every event you want to see. There aren’t an pre-defined cateogries those events have to fit in to, which is what gives the tool a lot of power.

So, define critical events for both mobile and web, make sure you are identifying the users right across platforms and start sending those events.

Thank you very much. I think I get the point, do all the necessary events and track them down.

Does that include standard segmentations such as demographics/OS Platform/etc.?

Also, I am in the process of compiling my events but ever since we did the setup no data is shown except in the live view, is not setting up the events the problem to that?
