I want to exclude specific country from being tracked in my and to exclude my internal traffic data, does anybody know how to do that? Thanks
Hey @SleepLiveWell, could this be what you are looking for? https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004494803-Disable-Geolocation-Collection Also, if you want to block any other default properties, I usually refer to this article https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004601523-Block-Default-Mixpanel-Properties
Hey @willyv, No this article is just to no to record some properties or not to populate them...what i want is that, e.g; i can block a user's activity from being tracked if the user is from Vietnam...Like we can filter countries in Google Analytics...Thanks
Hey @SleepLiveWell, thanks for clarifying! If you don't want the data to be recorded at all, in any project, you can set up a super property for those users, called $ignore. That way, they will trigger events, but we will disregard the data. Mixpanel has an article here on it
Hello @willyv how to write the code for that, I want mixpanel to not to record any activity from the users who are coming from United Kingdom
Is there a way to do this in bulk? We have a long list of thousands of test accounts we randomly select from when crowd-sourcing regression testing of our application. All of these Users already share a single property "Group ID", I'd like to ignore all events from all Users that have a specific value in Group ID.
