Can't disable native event tracking when using React Native wrapper?

We have successfully deployed Mixpanel in our React Native app using https://github.com/davodesign84/react-native-mixpanel

However, we are unable to disable specific types of default/native Mixpanel event tracking. We’ve been following the instructions found here (https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004494803-Disable-Geolocation-Collection) and in related articles.

Specifically, we’d like to disable Country, Region, City, Carrier and Device tracking. This is to be compliant with new analytics requirements from Apple.

Hope someone can help - thanks in advance!

Hi @Ramathing,

Unfortunately the wrapper you provided is a 3rd party application that Mixpanel did not create. With that in mind we are limited in the support we can provide for that package.

I did some digging and saw that someone else also reported a similar issue on the repo here. It might be worth following up with the creator of the wrapper on the Github issue to get more help on it.

If you end up posting a question in the Github issue, I would love to share your findings here so that future QBQ users can follow along!
