View Dropped Off Users on Retention Graph not working properly

Hi there,

The ability to view retained/dropped off users on the retention graph is a really good idea, however, for me it doesn’t work at all.

 

For example when I select ‘View dropped off users’ on one of the OS breakdowns of one of my weekly retention graphs (no matter what week I select), I get users who have been active today.

Hi @jamiesession - This is Neha here from the Mixpanel team. This might be because of the events you’ve chosen for retention. For eg. if you select ‘did action A’ and  ‘did action B’ as the two events -- if a user is active but doesn’t do action B and just does action C, D -- they won’t be counted under retained users. Let me know if this helps?
