I would like to do a retention analysis for new users. How should I set it up?

I would like to measure the transition of the first login user's revisit rate separately on the first login day.

Hi @yushi! I am understanding that you are trying to create a Cohort of First-Time Users and then creating a Retention report filtered by this cohort of first time users? If so, the set up depends on how you define a first-time user.

As an example, if you want to define the first-time a user performs the login event, then you could set up super property tracking as outlined in this article. Once you have attached a property to these users, you can then create a Cohort to see how this group of users retain in a retention report.

In addition, you can also create a Cohort from the different types of retention reports. To see how to create a Cohort from a Retention report, take a look at this article.

Hope this helps!
